About the American Children Abroad

WELCOME & INTRODUCTION

Hello, and thank you for visiting American Children Abroad.

My name is Ben Henderson. I reside in the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic. I’m very happily married, and the father of two extraordinary children.

The vision for this website was born out of a strong desire to share the many benefits of high quality educational resources for children available not only to the American community living here in Prague, but also to the Americans living all over the world.

I’m of the strong opinion that American children abroad should have access to quality American cultural, and educational resources that can positively impact their lives.

My past active involvement with American Citizens Abroad, a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland made me realize the need for such project. Hence, some five million Americans are living abroad, and like me, many of them with their families.
