Welcome to the IMSP Books for Children by Kathleen, Librarian

Tips for Reading!   Picking the right book for your child is not always easy. Below is a list of recommended websites to help find a book to suit your child's interest and age level. Also included are some of my favorite Prague bookstores to find exactly what you are looking for. If you cannot find that perfect book, parents can always special order the book through local bookshops.

Websites to help you find the right book for your child:

Education World:

Education World and Barnes and Noble joined forces to present a reading program.

Thanks to our readers' contributions, we have gathered reading lists by grade, along with reviews of new books, interviews with favorite authors, and lots of ideas for projects to extend reading -- projects for kids to do with friends or on their own and projects for families to do together!”

International Reading Associations:

International Reading Associations - Each year, thousands of children, young adults, teachers, and librarians around the United States select their favorite recently published books for the “Choices” booklists.

These lists are used in classrooms, libraries, and homes to help young readers find books they will enjoy.”
